Corsair virtuoso not working
We purchase our own headphones and put them under the same test bench, so that you can compare the results easily. No cherry-picked units sent by brands. The Corsair Virtuoso are decent wireless gaming headphones.
They have an understated and premium design that's a lot less flashy than many other gaming headsets, with subtle RGB Corsair logos on each ear cup. They feel quite well-built, but unfortunately aren't the most comfortable, and likely will cause some fatigue after long gaming marathons. On the upside, their wireless latency is great with their included USB dongle, and they can even be used wired by plugging them into the controller of either a PS4 or Xbox One.
Their microphone performance is very good, though transmitted speech may lack some detail. Note: We reviewed the SE variant, though we expect the performance to be very similar. The Corsair Virtuoso SE has more customization options for their RGB side-lighting, brushed metal aluminum on their ear cups, and a slightly larger microphone.
The Corsair Virtuoso are okay for mixed usage. Their slightly bulky and only decently comfortable design means they likely won't be great to use for commuting or travelling, despite having a detachable microphone.
They also don't isolate much background noise due to their lack of ANC. Overall, these are best suited for gaming purposes. The Corsair Virtuoso are alright for neutral listening. While their sound reproduction is fairly neutral, they have many peaks and dips and produce a somewhat muddy sound, with leads and vocals pushed to the back of the mix.
The Corsair Virtuoso are mediocre for commuting or traveling. They don't isolate background noise well, especially the low rumbles of engines, and may not be the most comfortable for people with moderately large heads.
Like all gaming headphones, they are also quite large, though they do feature a removable microphone and have swivel ear cups, allowing them to fold flat. The Corsair Virtuoso likely won't be suitable for sports. How to fix an xbox
They aren't very portable due to their large design, and despite being fairly tight, they don't stay on the head too well. Their over-ear design means they also aren't the most breathable and will trap heat in the ear cups, causing you to sweat. The Corsair Virtuoso are decent for office use. While they don't leak much audio, meaning you can crank up your music without bothering your co-workers, they aren't the most comfortable and may cause fatigue after a full work day.
On the upside, despite not having ANC, they should likely do a decent job at blocking out background chatter. The Corsair Virtuoso are satisfactory for wireless gaming.
Their latency with the included USB dongle is great, and you shouldn't notice any delay issues whatsoever. Their microphone is also very good and your teammates should have no problem hearing and understanding you.
Unfortunately, they aren't the most comfortable and likely will cause you discomfort during longer gaming marathons. The Corsair Virtuoso are satisfactory for wired gaming.
Their wired latency is almost identical to wireless, meaning these will work well for either use. They can also be used wired while charging, which is good as they take four hours to charge. Like most gaming headphones, the Corsair Virtuoso are decent for phone calls.A matched pair of precisely tuned 50mm high-density neodymium speaker drivers deliver immersive 7.

Reputation: Don't get me wrong; the mic is good, however, sometimes it sounds like I am talking inside a can probably tuna -- Corsair I can pass this feedback back to the audio FW and HW team to consider. It will only go in standby when the charging USB cable is unplugged -- Corsair LED status on the mic should be static green or red because it would be based on mute state, but it shouldn't be blinking red.
We will investigate this. The only LED That should show activity is the charge indicator. Headset off and on helps on this. A reboot is needed to fix. Only one status can be shown at a time. I am going to try it in another usb port and see if maybe that is what is causing it. For example, what game are you using, and during what scenes?
What motherboard and USB port are you using? We have tried to reproduce this issue internally but don't have enough data from users to fully understand what and how they're experiencing this issue.

It doesn't seem to be enough. I had the same issue with the Logitech wireless mouse; even their customer support were unable to inform me.
Perhaps an idea to let us know if a non-fast charger 2. Of course, we only officially recommend using USB ports on your system to charge. Also, it occurs that the volume from the previous output is chosen.

I wanted to make the same thread. The teamspeak bug is with windows and Corsair drivers. Without the corsair driver i have only the Teamspeak issue. The downside is automatic Standby wont work anymore. Pottsepp's PC Specs. While not a bug it would be awesome if you could create a macro or a command in iCue for a keyboard button so you could turn surround sound on and off.
I also found out that the ear padding is removable by pushing it down and turning. One of the most annoying issues at the moment for me seems to be that the headset can only be charged while the computer is on, I've tried having the headset connected in both wireless and wired mode but it wont charge when the computer is turned off.

The battery may be too low for the headphones to properly function. Poor audio quality could stem from incompatible settings in system software. The surround sound intermittently turns on and off without prompt, is unresponsive to adjustment or does not work at all. This is most likely due to the software that can be addressed in the Corsair Utility Engineering CUE software that accompanies the headphones. This information was taken from a forum that can be found in this link.
You may be listening too far from the wireless dongle or something is obstructing communication between the headphones and the dongle. Try plugging in the wireless dongle to another closer point or use the dongle extender included with the headphones.
Simply plug the dongle into the extension port and plug the extension cable into your device. Static sounds could be a result of inconsistencies is system settings, faulty hardware, or a software bug. Depending on the program, this may be changed in the system settings of the program. I bought some new headphones. They're wireless, it comes with a USB to plug in. So the first thing I did when I got home was plug the USB into the port, it automatically installed correctly and it was working just fine. I went out and came back home and now I'm not getting any audio from the headphones even though under playback devices it shows the headphones are default device, it recognizes that they're connected.
The audio level next to it is moving up and down but no audio in headphones. Yes I checked that the headphones are on. Yes I uninstalled driver and reinstalled. Yes I installed Corsair Utility Engine. Yes the headphones are fully updated. I watched a few youtube video and searched google but no luck.
For some reason I cannot get the audio working. My speakers are just fine though. Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
